REP follows twelve young offenders from different London boroughs who are thrown together into a community theatre project as part of their Youth Rehabilitation Orders. A middle class theatre director must gain their trust and help but mostly learn in order to suceed. Mike lees’ design captures perfectly the individual charaters and their backgrounds, allowing them a cavernous space in which to play, be lost, and be found.
